What assessors rate
Six criteria, one final level
Your overall level is the lowest of the six criteria. A strong vocabulary will not compensate for weak fluency, so we work on all six.

How the preparation works
- Placement call. A short online conversation to estimate your current level against the ICAO descriptors.
- Personal plan. Sessions focused on the criteria that hold your level down, with radiotelephony and plain-English scenarios.
- Mock assessments. Timed practice in the format of a typical assessment, with feedback per criterion.
- Ready check. A final mock before you book your official assessment.
Good to know
- Sessions run online and can be scheduled around rosters.
- Suitable for aeroplane and helicopter pilots.
- The official assessment is carried out by an approved language assessment body; this coaching prepares you for it.
